It's been a year into 2012 and while I think the world will not end this year, mine nearly did. Well it's a long story what happened, but more on that later. I would have liked to believe that generally, I am someone who means what I say and say what I mean. Even if sometimes it may be hard to do so. The keyword however, is 'generally'.

2011 has been a mixed year. It gave me pain, sorrow, depression but also fun, excitement, joy. It gave me new memories, experiences and friends. Especially close ones. Well, the incident in question was a result of mixed expectations, poor judgment and bad communication that had painful consequences. While I'm glad its over, I have learnt alot about trust, honesty and truthfulness.

Looking ahead, I don't care what others say about 2012 being a doomsday year. Life has just started again for me and I intend to make the best out of my uni years and pursue my interests. Carpe diem!!

It seems that every new year I feel compelled to write a New Year's entry, to reflect on the past year and to set the tone for year ahead. Last year was a really trying period for me and my family. I'm sure I don't have to go into the painful details. But it was also a time that I grew and learnt from all the lessons that life was trying to teach. It wasnt all that bad either. I was involved in NDP 2011, gt revocated and managed to gain a very good friend.

Its hard to believe that so much can happen in 365 days and that it really seems like yesterday that I was dreading going to brunei for ex lancer. Already its 2012, with 56 days left to ORD and uni life starting in 8 months time. And somehow my unit thinks its a good idea to send me for storeman course. Not that I'm complaining about the course itself, but I dun really see the point when there's so little time left lol. Its quite fun to learn new stuff abt logistics and stores and the course conductor is really nice haha. But Sembawang camp is just a little inacessible (but better then mandai) and its quite a welcome change from the stupid sai kang and chionging that is 1 SIR.

Haiz i have to finish up on my NUS scholarship essay soon....... this year is going to be quite a strain on my finances ugh. And with the stupid economy in doldrums I doubt I will be getting any money from the government lol.

Dang. So its been like 2.5 weeks since I last went out. Been at home all along still recovering from the op. It's been healing ok, and I've been off antibiotics already, so it sjus a matter of when I can remove the splint and elastics. Anyway since I'm so bored and I'm feeling nice...... haha I shall share what I do to remain entertained..

Guidelines to remaining entertained (so you won't be bored duh)

1. Most important of all: DO Stuff! (If you're doing something you won't be bored because you have something to do right? LOL! No brainer actually)

So...I guess the next question to answer will be. BUT WHATS THERE TO DO???

Play games? PC/Console/Board/Card It doesnt really matter. Personally I play TF2 and dota
Read! Since you have so much time, might as well read a few books to gain extra knowledge and improve your literary skills right? Newspapers too! Now you can read every single article and find out so much more!!!
Write. Update your blogs! Write a story! Or be like me! (and write a guide. haha)
Get friends to visit! A very good way to kill time, catch up with your friends and be entertained all at one go :P But NS is a huge downer since alot of my friends are cooped up themselves in camp -_-
Handicrafts? A bit childish. But hey... it occupies ur hands. haha It could be interesting for all you know. Like this cool video I found about DIY candy
Watch tv. Another brainless activity. But if you have cable, theres lots of interesting programmes and documentaries on Nat Geo/Discovery etc. Just dun spend so long hogging the tv and straining your eyes
Study. For nerds who have nothing really better to do and those who have no choice bwahaha

2. Go out (If possible)

Of course this is conditional on the state of your physical state and it doesnt really count as being cooped up... but meh. just once in a while its nice to do so.

There are so many things to see in Singapore actually. Parks, museums, trails. etc... Now is the Christmas season and I really wanna go out and see the lights, sights and sounds. (And buy a few presents)
Or since this is really for those who cant travel.... go downstairs. Get some fresh air. Look at all the little things in your neighbourhood. Who knows? Maybe you'll find something new!

3. Rest

Well I guess you are cooped up in the first place cos you're sick or recovering. So this has the double effect of making you better faster and killing time! And time spent unconscious goes by reallyyy quickly ^^

Hmm ok I think that should be about it. Any other suggestions?

I wonder now in the age of facebook, twitter and instant status updates, do people still bother to blog? Most of the people who I know to have personal blogs seemed to have stopped updating. Well, I'm no exception myself but on this occasion I decided to make an update since I really have nothing to do.

I've just undergone a "Maxillary lefort 1 advancement, mandibular hofer segmental osteotomy setback and autogenous bone augmentation at maxilla" operation which in layman's terms means I went and fixed my underbite ._. Time will tell if its worth it but for now I'm paying the price for it by not being able to eat and talk. Its been 5 days without solid food and not being able to make a single coherent sound other than grunts and other animalistic noises :\ Anyway the good thing is that its give me mc till 19 Dec for now. Which means of course that I don't have to be in camp heh. Only 92 days to go anw!!! Unlike some ppl who are going to ORD nex fri :(

Through this op I also have seen how caring people around me are and how blessed I am with good friends and relations. I hope mum is happy.

Well well. It appears much has happened in half a year. I havn't really elaborated on what has been going on so I guess now will be a good time to clear the air since time is somewhat on my side.

Basically the main few events:
1. Mum has left for heaven. (More on that later)
2. NDP (pictures are in fb, do check them out)
3. 190 days to ORD

I don't think I have mentioned this before, but mummy was diagnosed with stage IV leiomyosarcoma in 2009. Which obviously isn't good news. Throughout her diagnosis, treatment and passing, she has never once blamed anyone and was even then, a pillar of my support.It was thus a huge blow when God decided to take her home. I found it quite hard to cope initially, after all that I have been through. And I will always be glad for the 2 years that she was given (and had asked for). We have grown stronger, more independent and more resilient. Perhaps it was also for the best, as she was in deep pain caused by that lump of cells furiously dividing in her liver, uterus and lung. Anyway, I'm glad that she is now in paradise, reunited with her mother and cannot wait till we all meet again.

Next, I didn't know that I was going to be involved in NDP till around Apr. It was really hard work, burning numerous weekends, weekdays and energy trying to move all the props and ensure a smooth running of the show. I know that there was lots of controversy and criticism, a lá the funpack song. Sure, some parts may be a bit cheesy, but there's no need to be so critical. Its a time when Singaporeans get to come together and celebrate the hard work that we have put into making our nation an envy in the region and the world. I cant say that it was a bed of roses, but the process was definitely worth it. I wished that my mother could have watched it, and it was extremely poignant when they showed the character of 'Mother' in the show passing away. In any case, I have met new friends, new ppl who have shown me that life is not all that bad and that whats most important are the choices we make and hw we choose to utilise our life.

With about 190 days to go before ORD, I hope that uni life will start on a good note and that whatever memories that I have accumulated over my ns life, good and bad teach me never to take things for granted and the importance of having a positive outlook. I will admit it here, I have once fallen into depression and it is not a pleasant experience. Do talk with friends and family. They're the pillars of life.

2010 is ending. It has brought many memories. Some joyous, other much more painful. Dun really want to go into details, but I'm quite glad to see the back of 2010. Still, the first thing that 2011 is going to bring me is a stupid overseas ex to brunei. argh!

Probably those that know me may understand what has been going on this year and it has been quite tough on me. There were nasty ppl, but at least there were ppl who supported and backed me up, and I'm thankful for that. I've asked why I had to go through what I had gone through many, many times. But there's no satisfactory answer. I'm just hoping, one day when I look back, there will be some silver lining in it. But for now, jus wanna get brunei over and done with. Sian.

My 80th post. Things have been the same. I still hate 2010. Everyday I feel dam sian and depressed. Its so hard to keep up a sense of normality. I hate this! So many things are bothering me and they are forever on my mind. I can safely say 2010 is not my year at all.

I've been praying so hard but nothing seems to have changed. "Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence not seen." Easier said then done as I have found out. "My grace is sufficient for thee.." this is more encouraging but I need to last another 532 days. I just feel so much pain everyday. Someone help me please!

Oh well, at least YOG has been a much needed reprieve but other than that I have nothing much to look forward to except more outfields/range/route marches/ overseas excercises. Somehow I need and will get out of all this. Mum and dad's birthdays were just over. I don't really know what else to write. So much for my 80th post.

Tomorrow is the opening ceremony of the inaugural Youth Olympic Games and apparently, 90% of singaporeans are not interested in the least. Well, i saw an articles in the Straits Times today regarding the $hi++y food they are serving to volunteers and I must say, the person who posted the photos has guts! Oh well at least this week they changed caterers all of a sudden to ISS. Their food at least looks and tastes normal.

I'm actually very thankful for the YOG since it gives me opportunities to stay out of camp. Although its quite tiring, but its still better than the life or rather, no-life that we have in camp. We shall see how the opening ceremony goes tmr.

Haix, I'm only updating this 2 weeks after BMT POP. What's with army and their legendary love of acronyms. Anyway, I've been posted to a dumping ground. Shall not reveal the camp or unit but suffice to say, I'm a rifleman a.k.a human shield. Basically I'm supposed to run up and down hills carrying whatever stupid weapon I'm assigned and basically be the first to die in the event of an artillery strike or when encountering a tank.

The camp kinda sucks, food is a step down from tekong and welfare is practically non-existent. I heard other units get internet access but I have no such luck. Other restrictions in place include no mp3/media players, no food to be brought in and no use of vending machines. Free time is also a totally alien concept at the camp. Really hate my life. I thought things would improve after BMT. The training is pretty standard, but I'm dreading all the outfields, SOC, route marches which I have had enough of during BMT. Barely survived all these and now I'm expected to continue for another 19 months. Crap.

The Advanced Infantry Training or AIT lasts 6 weeks and its basically section training where we have to learn to fight as a team of 7. Fortunately it's interrupted by the youth olympic games so we get plenty of time out of camp doing grunt work at the marina bay. Oh well it's still better than in-camp. I'm really miserable and depressed everytime I'm in camp which makes every moment out so much more to be desired and enjoyed. Really, if you find your current life boring and wished for excitement, go join the army. It really teaches you how to enjoy life's simplest pleasures. A cup of cool water after tough PT. Clouds that obscure the sun and the cool breeze. The list goes on.

Anyway I have just put in braces on my teeth and have a follow up appt in 6 weeks time. My teeth kinda hurt now and I'm wondering how to go outfield this tues to practice section drills. Hope there's no route march and it ends fast.

This new blog template looks so much cooler =D. Oh man, I can't describe how cool the feeling of freedom is, after 9 weeks of doing stuff that I don't even want to do, having 1 week off is simply the best thing that could ever happen.

POP for 02/10 enhanced leadership batch W coy, sch 3 was quite a simple affair. Had the 20km route march super early, around 5+. It rained intermittently between 4km stretches which rocked as there was not enough time to complete the whole 24km so we got a 4km discount. Furthermore, the whole march was on road, which made it easier somewhat. Had 2 abrasions by the end of the whole thing and wanted to die by 12-16km so I'm super glad we had it easy. The whole parade started around 3.50pm and the first half was quite uneventful, although I felt quite stupid doing the infantry song and roar. But who cares, I'm free from tekong!!!! Well here are the pictures:

Feeling quite high now as its the start of the week, but posting is coming out on friday. Kinda worried as I was shortlisted for armor recce trooper which involves carrying dam heavy loads and marching for super long distances in small groups. Also IPPT silver is a must to pass out. How to when I can't even pass BMT IPPT. Anyway, I'm praying and hoping for a non-combat vocation. Call me whatever you want but that's what I feel suits me best. I don't think I am able to shoot at someone to kill him in a real war anyway.

Now I'm at the middle of BMT. Field camp is now over and up next is SIT test. I'm not going to really bother too much about it as its a selection tool for command school. I just want a non-combat vocation where I can do better than just going outfield. Honestly, I have no interest in and am not fit at all fighting frontline. Field camp sucked but at least its over. I just calculated that there is about 2 full weeks of training left. Really looking forward to POP-ing.

Feeling kinda moody as its bookin day and I can only come out 7 days later. That sucks but at least it means the following week is only 4 days long. Maybe 3 if SDC visit is on that week. I just hate route marches mostly.

And about the recent controversy about City Harvest Church's donation collection methods. I feel that they are misleading people when they say that giving donations to the church results in greater results. What makes it different from an investment scheme? God wants us to give out of our love for him as everything belongs to him in the first place. If we expect rewards for our offering we are no different from money grubbing scum. Does he even need our money in the first place? God does not want us to be rich on this earth as our treasures are laid up above in heaven. This world is not our home. If we happen to be rich it is a blessing, not an entitlement. Mega churches are really enticing people with the prosperity gospel and it makes me sad when people fall for it. Are they really saved? I hope so.

Back to the topic of NS. I really feel encouraged by the grace of God. Truly I wouldn't have made it through field camp and 5 weeks of NS BMT if it were not for God's mercy and grace. What a friend we have in Jesus!

Well, its been 4.5 weeks since enlistment. Have more or less adjusted. Whiskey has been better then I expected. I mean, at least its not Raven or Ninja. Still, we had ~3 sort of severe punishments for things such as being late or bunk dirty. Anyhow, the halfway point of BMT is coming. And that's field camp. For 5 nights outfield, we'll be doing loads of crap. Don't exactly wanna think about it and ruin my long vesak day weekend. But God has been quite good to me. I've been emo-ing for my first 3 weeks there over the lost of my freedom and all the crap I had to do. Mostly got over it but it still sux every time there's training and I cant keep up, esp route marches.

Poor ppl got confinement and guard duty this week. Really pity them. But that's army for you. Which is why care for soldiers is last on their core values. Hope I can survive next week. Ppl having their field camp this week were dam lucky. 4 days only and it didnt rain at all! Oh well, I heard if ppl faint they *will* be nicer but since my batch are all silver NAPFA and above, I don't really think that will happen. Am going to pray that nothing bad happens and we all can deal with the stuff they throw at us.

Sigh, with about 17 hours to go before going to tekong, feeling uber sian-ed. Only thing to look forward to is this sat labour day. Incidentally, tmr is exactly 19 years and 1 month since my birth.

The gov so good to me, giving me new haircut, new home, new friends, new clothes and free meals with allowance sommore! Which other gov so good? But then, every year make you come back for training, while other foreigners are faster, cheaper and better and can work more productively! Song bohs? Rly sux man.

Anw, I've gotten two offers so far, 1 from NTU and 1 from NUS. Now gotta really think dip dip as to which course to accept. NUS more prestigious, but more competitive, and its not guaranteed you will get your choice of modules. Hostel and residences also so hard to get. But at least its nearer than NTU. On the other hand, NTU seems more relaxed, has a somewhat newer campus and its 4 years direct honours course. Really confusing leh.

Been working for 2 weeks alr. And I've been thinking heavily about life these few months. After nearly dying, it really changes one's perspective. And right now, my take is that I'm wasting my time. While I have 25 more days to enlistment, I think at least in NS, I will be learning something. While my work now is not stressful or tiring, it is boring. I feel no sense of accomplishment or achievement at all.

While the pay is decent, ($6/hr) the ppl working here are mostly older than me and seem to have held the job for quite some time. I can't see myself doing it on a long term basis. And its only been 2 weeks! No wonder Shu Ning quit after 1.5 mnths or so. Im counting down everyday to the last day of work and as of now its 20 days, with 14 days of work remaining. Another thing is if I had went in on my original enlistment date, I would be having my POP soon. Haiz

Today is yet another boring day. Ytd was Good Friday and there was nothing to do. Today I wanted to go to the pixar exhibition and someone ruined my plans by saying he was sick, there will be many people there etc. WTH la. It was something I've been looking forward to all week after being transferred to another department which I don't really like. Then I get this kind of crap.

LIFE SUCKS. FML

How does it feel to be 19? Nothing extraordinary for sure. Today seemed like any other Sunday, except that the date was 28 march. This means that 19 years ago on this same day, I was thrust into this world. So far it doesnt seem that special though. I don't feel particularly happy or sad. Just thankful that I made it this far, since I almost died last month. I have much to be thankful for actually and this proves that God does take care of his own.

So maybe I already have everything I need, as I have received the greatest present I can ever receive from God, his love, mercy and salvation. Praise God.

YAY! Another major milestone in life over. I'm talking about A level results which came out on 5 Mar. Strangely I didn't feel as elated/anxious over this as I did for my O' levels 2 years ago. Except maybe for some heart-pounding here and there. In any case, my results were seriously run of the mill. Could have done better, but I'm already thankful it wasn't much worse then I feared. 78.75 rank points I hope can get me into faculty of Science @ NUS hopefully. I heard of people with (much) worse results than me so maybe I should be counting my blesssings. Still, a string of B's don't really look that impressive... especially that darned C for H1 Geog. Overall 22/08 did quite well as a class I suppose although the IP classes (naturally) did better.

On a brighter note, I already got upgraded to PES B (again) 11 days before my scheduled appointment on 24 Mar but they moved it to 15 Mar so I hope they send the enlistment letter for April intake soon.

Argh! Friggin pissed with the whole stupid way CMPB and by extension, MINDEF do things.

The story?? Here:

So after the fantastic events of 4 feb and taking painful long time to recuperate, I felt much better. So went to get the memo/letter from my doctor at the ENT centre, SGH. And thought this meant that I was well enough for enlistment. Then I went down to CMPB hoping to get an upgrade on my PES. Waited super long there and guess what? Stupid MO says he got to see me in 1 month again and refuse to upgrade me. WTH la. And all because of this one line in the memo: "He should refrain from strenuous exercise for 1 month." So the MO thought it means I'm not fit for enlistment and want me to wait 1 month, till 24 Mar. Stupid because the next enlistment is in april which is 2 months away!!! By that time I will fit already so why can't my PES be upgraded?! NO WAI!!!! This probably means I won't be scheduled in time for april enlistment. Which means more wasting time at home and finishing NS even later. And going in with all the poly, ITE ppl. No offence to these ppl but I will feel dam left out. Sianz!

Now the only thing is to get a new memo from my doctor and make him say I'm fit for enlistment. Hopefully then the MO will upgrade my PES and schedule enlistment in time for april. Otherwise I hope they can still get me a place in april in 1 months time. ARGHHHHHH

And doomsday is now just 6 days away XD.

The suckiest day of my life happened on 4 feb. Following a tonsillectomy (removal of tonsils) on 20 Jan, I thought I was on the way to recovery after 12 days or so after 2 follow up visits to the A&E department of SGH, Then, the bleeding started. Thought it was nothing serious as it would stop after a while even though quite a bit of blood would come out. This happened for 4 times every alternate day until the climax on 4 feb. Which is officially the worst day of my life.

Apparently some massive internal hemorrhage developed and blood was leaking from the op site into the stomach, which eventually was expelled through the mouth a.k.a vomiting. I think I lost about 1-1.5 liters of blood, which is no joking matter,. (I passed out for a few minutes or so) Ambulance had to be called at 2.30am in the morning. (my first time riding one) Reached the A&E dept of CGH, then had my throat vacuumed to stop the bleeding which was uber traumatic when you keep puking blood every few minutes. Eventually had to go for emergency operation to cauterize the bleeding part. Subsequent hospitalization for 3 days with transfusion of 2 packs of blood. Finally now on the way to recovery but my enlistment on 6 Feb had to be delayed. Downgraded to pes D awaiting medical review. Which basically means I'm going to waste 2 months of my time while I go for another checkup and reschedule enlistment, hopefully sometime in April with the last JC batch. All I can say is, it sucks to be me on the 4th of Feb.

Well its 2010 now. Happy new year to all =D Anw, life hasn't changed that much. I'm currently slacking before enlisting next month =.= Tried to find a job but srsly, can't find any that have a hiring period of only 3 weeks or so, even in the temp jobs section zz. I was so bored today that I went out with my sister and her classmates to some of the poly's open houses. It was quite interesting as I have never been to any poly's open houses. Even though I wasn't an O lvl student I still went to take their free stuff lol. Feels a bit cheapskate but wth la. I went to see what and how poly students learn and it is quite diverse. They learn much more interesting stuff such as film and media studies as well as engineering, chemistry, biomedicine, and even forensic science. Interesting, but I think it's more worth it to do it at a higher lvl, i.e University. Now counting down the days left to enlistment. Haix

A new year is dawning. Christmas is just over, I've just come back from the US. Woot! The trip was a blast. Took many photos and went to so many different places. It is a nice place to live for sure although Singapore is still not bad for its sense of security. One thing the US can do much better than us: Service standards. Service staff there are definitely more polite and helpful. After 16 days there I find it quite hard to adjust back to life here. Anyway there's also not much to look forward to in the next year. A tonsillectomy and enlistment are in the works argh.

Seriously wondering what army life going to be like. although I think I'm not really looking forward to it.

Yay 1 more paper till the end of A levels on 3rd Dec, although I've been slacking since my unofficial last day on 23rd Nov. On that last day this piece of paper is finally useless I so can't wait for it to be over so I can go on my US trip =D. At least theres 1 more month before ns so I can hopefully get a job or something. These few days have been quite boring, went out on fri with Sam, Andrea and Atika to Bukit Timah hill. It was so tiring! Then went to Raffles City for lunch. Tmr will be attending Mr Gan's wedding reception. Holidays rock =)

I know at this critical juncture 1.25 weeks before my first A level paper I should be studying. But I decided to blog now after reading Lavina's post about the last day of sch. Well it was 3 days ago but it seems more like 3 weeks. The last day of sch was well not really the last since I have to go back tomorrow for mock bio and gp lessons. But the stuff that the teaching staff wanted to communicate to us was that we decide our future. That day, 26 Oct began with assembly. Funny how ppl sang the national anthem louder that day. Then it was time for the last cohort meeting. The VP tried to encourage us that our prelim results didn't matter much. What matters is the A's. She showed us results of our seniors that despite getting S'es and U's, getting 3A's or more is still pssible in the actual exams. After that was the farewell concert which I'm not going to elaborate much on except that our class seemed to be the only one not getting any last words or farewells from our STs. (unless you count those generic to all [insert subject] students) When the concert ended I just stayed behind for a few photos and left to eat lunch with SC.

That was my "last" day of TJ. I remember the first. Actually it was nearly 3-4 years ago when I was in sec 2. SC told me about TJ's IP program and I was sort of interested. Even though I said I would apply I was lazy and didn't get to it. Fast forward 2 years and it was after O levels. PAE still existed then and I was sent to MJ. While not my first choice it was ok and I hoped that my actual O level results would eventualy let me enter TJ. MJ was not a bad school at all but I hated the travelling and the fact that I had little friends that did not compel me to stay even though my PAE class were quite a nice bunch. I will still remember 08S305. It eventually dispersed and nearly half the class went to different sch's after that. When the actual results arrived I was quite anxious. I did better then prelims though - but still not enough to enter TJ. I immediately started the appeal process. SC was freaking lucky. He appealed for PAE AND JAE and got in both times! The first day of JAE was weird for me. All the ppl I knew well in sec sch left for other jcs, leaving me alone. It was a weird experience for me since my PAE class had sort of disbanded and I felt kinda lonely. The next day however, during lunchtime when I was slacking in the library instead of participating in orientation, I got the phone call that told me I had been accepted. I almost screamed with joy but it was the library after all. What happened next was that I had to rush between MJ and TJ. Luckily they were quite near each other. Well, what happened next is history.

22/08 has been and will always be my best experience in TJ. The dynamic bunch of people having such close friendship through thick and thin, PW, teachers leaving and our class events will never be forgotten. That basically made my experience in TJ all the more better. Despite not having the PDP I wanted and not having any leadership roles I will remember TJ for 22/08. Leaving it will not make me cry, but at least there's something to look back on.

WOW! I managed to NOT blog for 1 whole month. (Not that I like blogging anyway) Well in 1 month prelims came and went. Tmr will be the day of reckoning to see if my inverse-studying law that says the less you study the better you score actually works. Anyway it has been quite a crazy month. F1 was in town recently..... natural disasters are wreaking havoc on 10% of the world's population etc. Anyway my life still has been quite boring, but it could have been worse so I'm not complaining. A's are really around the corner now and I think its time I start memorising stuff and understanding them. I compared the old AS AO level syllabus with the 'H' series and I'm kinda glad now that we're taking the new syllabus. The old one was insane! Mechanics in maths? Food Chemistry in Chemistry? How did they cope? Oh right...... they didn't have PW or SPA.....

I kinda feel lousy at the moment since I don't think I have achieved any of my goals set out. SC is training hard in preparation for NS and I'm just lazing around =( And today I meant to thank the person who found my wallet but I felt embarrassed and the oppertunity jus slipped away. Feeling really bad about it now =_=

Time to buck up. Its now or never.

What is this world coming to? Everyday in the news more and more retarded stories keep coming up. First I saw this article about how a teenager in the USA was charged for recording 20s of a Transformer's movie (which totally sucks btw) to show to her brother. And the people involved felt that the cinema was a "victim" . That's right, they will lose $18.6 bn from her 20s recording! And apparently theres good and bad stealing. WOW!

The second article comes from the Straits Times, about how our really close neighbour cant seem to make up its mind whether Muslims can attend a concert sponsored by a beer company. This is not really news, since they have a long history of proposing something and then changing their mind. Recall: Teaching using English, SG cars and MY petrol etc. Anyway, I was more incredulous at their suggestion that they have a "first world" democracy while Sg has a first world mentality but third world democracy. Give me a break! The political situation in MY definitely sux more than in here. They have democracy? Thats what they call by blaming their loss in elections to everyone else? I don't even want to talk about their NEP. Its about as effective as a waterproof sponge.

Anyway about more serious stuff, prelims are like in 2 weeks or so. I know that its pretty late compared to other JCs but I still havnt internalised some maths concepts such as complex numbers and graphs. At this rate I think I can only scrape by a C to B average. Really need to get my rhythym back. Think I'm also going on hiatus for quite a while. Don't really think anyone will miss me anyway.

Today was a really tiring day for me. Although it was supposed to end at 12.30pm I had some geog talk conducted by a Prof David Higgins from NUS geography department giving a talk at 4.20pm about landslides. It was sort of interesting learning about some new techniques that geographers use to map cliff faces and see the impacts of landslides. Quite a bit of stuff was repeated from the A level H1 syllabus but it was quite informative. We had a sharing session with some 2003 seniors after that. That has motivated me to get an A for H1 geography and my other subjects. Also, there was pizza! There was also an interesting comment about speeches. Apparently good ones are like skirts, they must be long enough to cover the essentials yet short enough to catch others attention. I loled at it.

Ok now on to slightly more serious stuff. There is approx 100 more days to A levels and I must so start preparing. I must get serious now since its like the last lap. I guess I'm like the 2nd type of person mentioned by the senior. I feel stressed that I'm not feeling stressed enough about the impending A levels. This is seriously getting me worried. And I have a chemistry concept test tmr that I havn't even prepared enough for. Dang it.

This is horrible. Liverpool vs Singapore. What a disaster, 3-0 to liverpool. Seriously wuuuuttt! And dang it, this is distracting me from my homework. Really can't seem to get anything done over the weekend. Then there's bio PQ to do again and chem concept test coming up. Really sian-ded from all the work and stuff. On the brighter (dubious) side, A levels are coming in 4 months time. Target this time is AAA/B at least. Must........... get............... back......... to.............. work.

Felt really crabby today after P.E at the thought of bio MCQ tests tmr and the large amount of work that is steadily piling up. Was really quite tired after PE that I just had to take a nap. Oh well, there's the partial eclipse that is going to take place this Wed at 8.40am SST. Pity that I don't have any glasses/filters to observe it. The harsh reality of term 3 has finally started to sink into me. I am like so frustrated trying to find out what I can type for my top 3 achievements for the SGC. Just realised that the CIP that I did at NUH in January is still not recorded down even though I have the verification letter. I still have to go get it approved then submit the letter to the General Office. And yeah, clubs and society type of CCAs suck! I have nothing much to write about during my tenure at the entrepreneurship club. Then again, I didn't even choose to be in the E-club, it was a result of appealing to TJC. Just my luck when I thought I could try another CCA for once. /facepalm Now I have nothing much to write for my top 3 achievements except CCA and CIP. The last one is really a headache when you have no leadership positions or intellectual achievements. Writing about duathlon or some obscure CCA activity sounds lame too. Whatever, I'll just take ideas from other ppl. And anyway, having a perfect SGC with all E's isn't going to do much good when applying to unis either, which brings me back to the topic of JCTs

Yeah they suck, with me failing almost all my subjects before moderation. Surprise though, my best subject was maths. Bio sucks now, requiring the regurgitation of so many keywords and terms. Hate the answering technique. Srsly, I so think life sucks now; nt sure if NS will suck more. Worst years of my life. And whats the point of ranting here when no one reads my blog anyway? *depressed*

Today was youth day in lieu of yesterday, when ppl who still had papers for JCTs had to mug instead of relaxing. Since my papers ended last week, I had 2 days off instead =D . Spent today going to tampines and playing dota with csc lol. I saw that there was a Hokkaido fair at tm. Really cool stuff they were selling like this ikameshi which is squid stuffed with rice. I saw it on a taiwan tv show on saturday. Apparently its really popular in Japan as a form of ekiben or railroad food. I find it cool that railway stations are associated with different types of bento. I also wanted to buy the butter cakes but the queue was so long! Maybe I'll try my luck tomorrow. Its from 3rd to 12th july.

Oh man, yesterday was such a cool day that I will remember. Reason: I went to the VGL concert. It was a blast!!!! Music by the NUSSO playing themes from Metal Gear Solid, Sonic the hedgehog, Super Mario Bros, Final Fantasy and much more was awsum live! The pianist Martin Leung was cool too. Imagine playing the theme to Super Mario Bros blindfolded and at a speed of 280 on the piano. He's imba.....

Today after tuition we went to the Science Centre at jurong to view the Da Vinci exhibition. It was quite interesting really to see all his inventions and artwork, especially to see the Mona Lisa as Da Vinci intended and not the faded colours of the painting hanging in the Louvre today. Also watched a IMAX show about Vincent Van Gogh's life although honestly I did not find it that interesting. The new maths exhibition in the main building was also sort of interesting. I find that applying what you learn in class to the real world definitely gives it relevance instead of just poring through the subject for its sake. But I do sort of wish that I could solve one of the Milennium Prize Problems. Such as the Riemann Hypothesis, mainly because its like a challenge that no one else has been able to tackle. But of course, I must first work on my H2 maths syllabus now. Really in a dilemma as to what my real interests really are and what course to take in future. Guess I'll take it slow and easy first.

Went for TJCSB band concert on the 23rd of May. It was a blast. The pieces were played nicely and excellently and the theater cum performance part was really funny. Made me roflol when I saw it. No wonder ppl said that the band deserved a gold and not silver during the SYF judging. I so agree.

Owww now my legs are aching cos NAPFA was just over. Im so #@$%$#^% angry that I missed silver by 3cm for SBJ and 2 pull ups and like 40s for the run. Is so can make it one lor! ARGH

Ok. I dunno who this person is or why he/she is being such a jerk, but one thing is for sure, spamming my blog is the lamest thing anyone can do. Anyway, since the posts are obviously flame bait and are entirely false they are so laughable, I shall not bother to respond to such acts of extreme stupidity. As such, I decided to lock the tagboard for a little while. You can still leave any feedback you have via the comments link on each blog post. Today marks some important events. Mas Selamat Bin Kastari has finally been caught after 13 months. He was still planning attacks on Singapore! And the H1N1 threat is finally subsiding, we're moving to code yellow which means the cessation of daily temperature taking. Phew. I totally hate having the thermometer in my mouth twice a day.

Plus X-Men Origins: Wolverine is not a bad watch, although some reviews said that the ending was rushed which I sort of agree to. Looking forward to Terminator: Salvation which will be sort of the last in the Terminator series. Man, the first movie came out like 2 decades ago and now its finally coming to an end!

Been reading the news recently and I think its time for an update. "Swine" flu has been spreading round the world. I hope its not a repeat of the 2003 SARS incident. Although Singapore is not affected YET, it has the potential to spread here cos we are always trying to be a "hub" for everything. I just hope its not flu. And I dont know why such diseases take place in years where I have major national exams. SARS happened during my PSLE year and 2007, 'O' lvl year had bird flu scares. Looks like what the bible predicted about epidemics and earthquakes in the end days are becoming more frequent. Mexico the source of "swine" flu also had an earthquake. Coincidence? Maybe. And some moronic no life loser decided to spam my tagboard with spam messages. Irritating. Why can't some people get a life?

You can say that yesterday wasn't a very good day for me. The reason? PW results. Yea. It was quite an experience knowing that hardwork sometimes doesn't always guarantee success as contrary to common thinking. It bewilders me that I got a B when the rest of my group got an A. Not to be bitter about it, but I just don't know why despite putting in so much hard work, thinking of the idea, typing the WR and GPP (5 times), staying back till dunno wad time binding the WR and doing last minute editing as well as myriad other stuff I still ended up the only one in the group that got a B. It really is sort of unfair when I think about it now, but I have accepted it (mostly). T_T Well at least the comments that our groups idea was interesting, feasible and well thought-out made me feel slightly better that the topic I thought off was good. Well SY told me that PW isn't really that important. I could have done worse. And there are still my H2s that can make the difference. I shall use that for my motivation and prove that I can make it to uni. Furthermore, remembering my goal to be always happy no matter what, and considering that today, on Good Friday commemorating what Jesus did for me by dying on the cross, I find that none of this matters. So yeah, eat my dust!

Finally! MCTs are O-V-E-R. But does that call for celebration. Yes - and no. My birthday was just over and I was mulling over life in general. What does it mean to be 18? An age that many people in Africa and elsewhere would be lucky to reach? I guess I'm still searching for my purpose in life, although I really want to do biomed research and hopefully discover the mechanisms behind many diseases. I also think teaching is a good idea, I do like teaching somewhat and also because teachers have a lot of 'power' over students lives. Yea it would be really cool to produce students that turn out to be Nobel prize laureates or something. In the mean time however I gotta work hard. I thought I did well for MCTs. I thought wrong =( Oh well, off to do some work.

I am putting up this post because I feel very sad over how other people in the world are starving. Sounds weird huh. Anyway, this person: Robert Mugabe disgusts me absolutely to the core. Read about it here. Its sickening the way such dictators put their own interests before the citizens. All I can say is: poor Zimbabweans . Their country is in poverty with an annual inflation rate of 89.1X10^21 % and all he can think about is his birthday. In fact Zimbabwe was a country that was prospering before this *censored* came to power. I just feel so sorry for the innocent people suffering under this tyrant and his government. Really opens your eyes to what is happening around the world. Well, I hope he gets his just desserts.

it doesn't look very clear, but its some workers destroying the playground I used to play in when I was in kindergarten, like around 4-7 years old. Im sorta amazed it was there for like 10+ years, and I recall the happy and carefree times when I just climbed over without a care in the world. Now, that part of my childhood is gone =( Its like when you were young you wanted to grow up fast. Then when you're older, you realize how much more innocent and carefree being a child was. Oh no, I'm getting sorta emotional here =X I guess its because of all the work and responsibilities that never end and it sometimes makes me just want to break down and forget about everything. Ah well, some positive news, I got my new phone today yay! Although I won't get to use it next year cos it has a camera zz. I feel dumb. Just because TJC is one of the "traditional top 5 jcs" that everyone thinks all those who make it in are smart. Then the pressure comes to perform. Ok, I admit I'm not the model student type of person. I would rather sleep then read notes about [insert subject here]. So I guess I'm somewhat at fault too. Anyway, enough of negative talk, time to get inspirational. I believe no one is born stupid, even those so-called "mentally retarded" people. Surely everyone has a talent, although I'm still not sure what mine is. Like this:

oh well. JC 1s have started coming into school this week, and I kinda miss the times when there were no JC 1s. Imagine the whole canteen without so many people and the lack of a queue at the bus stop. But orientation seems to be pretty hectic and exciting, from my viewpoint. (anything beats homework and lectures right?) Being a stationmaster for the mass games has got to be one of the most tiring things to do. I'm aching all over now and somewhat partially deaf. (due to all the cheering) The worst thing today was having to run the stupid practice for the roadrun next week. I seriously don't care if I don't get the stupid certificate.

Feeling so sian that sch has started alrdy... well I guess this week wasn't too bad (it could have been worse) as there isn't much work given out yet. But it'll be a different story one to two weeks from now. This week seems to be 'inspirational' talk week, with so many warnings of dire consequences if we dun work hard for the 'A's. Well, they could be right, at least I intend to work hard, and hopefully hope for something comparable to my 'O' level results. I've not been posting for a while and suddenly felt like doing so. Anyway, what have I been doing since the start of 2009? Nothing much to be honest, although I just finished 3 days of volunteering at the Radiotherapy Centre of NUH. It was quite fun actually as there was also a girl from NJC- Edlyn who was there as well. She's quite funny haha and really made my time there more interesting. We did stuff like decorating the place for CNY, some filing and paperwork, delivery of items from department to department, and data entry. Of course, I dint really do it for altruistic reasons - I wanted to get CIP hours to be honest =P . Anyway school starts on Monday 12 Jan and I'm really not looking forward to it. The reality of A' levels still hasn't sunk into me although I can bet that when it does, I'll probably panic =X Oh well, I shall post some pics of my time there.

Looking through the blogs of other 22/08-ians, I've come to the conclusion that mine is the least read. I think 60% of the tags on my tagboard were posted by me lol. Now, I'm not complaining about the low readership, its just an observation made by me. I guess the lack of pictures could be one factor as I'm not the kind to take photos. Anyway, tmr is christmas and it sure is going to be one fun day going to church and singing carols and exchnging presents =D Today was quite boring though, all I did was go to grandpa's house for dinner and caroling.

My first post after coming back from taiwan on 6 Dec. Taiwan is a fun place with quite nice ppl and good food. Only bad thing is its quite cold this time of the year. I brought back quite a bit of stuff including fruit jelly, cake, shoes and germs. (I've got a bad cold with sneezing and coughing) But anyway, Im so behind on my holiday hw now..... and this week and next week are so jampacked with stuff! Class cip on next mon and tues means dam lots of preparations to do and have to go sch for maths stuff today. Then next wed to fri is church camp. Where am I going to find time to finish my hw????? Ironically I seem to be the freest member of 2208. While others have jobs/attachments/internships/CIP/CCA to do, Im languishing at home. What does this bode for my portfolio? Im so screwed........ What a nice way to end a blog post haix.

This holidays are turning out to be super boring... I have nothing to do besides hw, school work and CIP work argh!!!! Everyone is busy so I have nobody to go out with and when I do, Im outta ca$h so I cant do much either. I need a job but there's like none! (that can fit my schedule) so I've been staying home a lot with two whining and noisy toddlers at home which makes it nigh impossible to get anything done. Someone rescue me please!!!! Anyway, I went to Bugis today (by myself) to escape my cr@p life. Ran into Lavina there and (I think) Samuel(22/08) although he didn't see me. Didn't spend much, jus on some nibbles. And oh my, RAM prices are dirt cheap now. For about $65 you can get 4GB of DDR II RAM. Feel like upgrading my desktop RAM and graphics card. Then I can play Red Alert 3 without so much lag. Really bored now, that's why Im blogging this........ anyway, going to Taiwan next week and I'm not sure what to buy back. Suggestions?

Holidays are here and by right, I should be celebrating. But noooooooooooo someone had to come up with holiday hw and I absolutely hate it. I hate it like a vegetarian hates meat. I hate it like how the world hates Osama. I hate it like how one feels about a dish which gives one diarrhoea. I hate it like how ants feel about anteaters. ARGH! The friggin maths hw is like killing me! Bio is ok and so is chem. But math sux to the core. Screw holiday hw! Next year is 'A' level year alrdy, its feeling like sec 3, where nex year is some major national exam. Crud! And some hardcore ppl are even counting down to prelims as of now! THX A LOT MAN! (wth sia!) Hopefully I can kiss chinese goodbye for good next year. Gotta get my head into the A level game now. Random thought: I feel like watching Madagascar 2. But im broke and have no time. I like to move it move it!

Its a funny feeling. PW is over, we should be celebrating but after my OP, we just...........went home. No celebrations no parties,...........just plain relief. I guess thats TJ 104. We slack a lot, but we get things done. Wanted to go out with the group but as usual, Qi min and debbie had their own stuff to attend to. While i saw TJ 107 lavina, rong sheng etc (I hope I gt the no. correct) go to Seoul garden to celebrate. Felt like joining them, but I had no $$$$..... Well, I guess its on to the final hurdle, the dreaded "A" levels. I feel like I'm in sec 3 again, with next year being some major exam and telling myself I cannot slack. We'll have to see about that. Today was boring, was supposed to go out with SY but he ps me and CL to go out with his class. How irritating! I'm not sure how to feel now... really empty and headachy. Yes!! The school year is coming to a close but there's like 2 hurdles to cross/duck under: chinese A lvls and PW! I feel so stressed up jus toking about this two topics. Our group's written report is like 3.8k words. yes, 3 thousand 8 hundred over words. How am I supposed to cut out 700+ words?! By this friday! Oh man....... the last lap is always the most gruelling one, you just want to drop dead but its like so not worth it.... Finally at long last i got back my results. obviously they sux...I gt pwned in maths chem chinese. and thats like half the subjects I take. seriously demoralising when compared to other ppl having 60s-70s in like most subjects. its possible for me too! but dang, I had to screw up the subject which I bothered to actually study and mug. I seem to do better when I DON'T study. which is like weird. murphy's law again? the bright side is that I didnt do as badly as some other ppl. which is a gd thing for me probably (showing my evil side here) but obviously bad for those concerned. feeling super sick with flu but still forced myself to school. argh....now doing pw presentation slides. i hope it doesnt end up like this:

Dang it. today was Evaluation of materials submission day and our group leader clarabel had to choose this day not to come.... first thing in morning get sms ask me print her EoM for her. (I wasn't the only one to get it)I mean, if you want others to do you a favour you should at least give them some notice and not just plonk it in front of them and expect them to oblige. Even though I know that she has a tendency to fall ill but still does some work, Im sick of being so dam unappreciated!!!! everytime im expected to do something but no one seems to care about what I say. even in the group groundrules it states that everyone must respect others opinion and NOT BE LATE for meetings, it seems that the only one adhering it to it seems to be yours truly. every group meeting at least 1 person is late. gt 1 time i had to wait 30 minutes for everyone to arrive! dam freaking annoying! super sick of doing stuff that others dun appreciate.

hmm... after hari raya, its back to school and back to pw. great combination.... today spent like 5+ hours doing NOTHING but pw! utterly sianded and boreded. yes im coming with new terms to describe stuff. so I couldn't take it anymore and decided to go to parkway to blow off some steam. man I havn't been there for ages despite having some ten million meetings at the nearby marine parade library. too bad i had only very limited funds to spend since I stupidly spent money on lame stuff in marina square on tuesday when there wasn't any school. and I still owe $10 to rong sheng for the movie tickets (pls dun remind him lol) to watch disaster movie. o well, so i popped over to the apple store in parkway and had fun with the display iphone and ipod touch. they're so fun to play with! and they could go with my macbook real well. *hint* *hint* and I just watched "I survived a Japanese Gameshow" super funny! oh well, tmr its back to pw again..../facepalm

I've always been a big fan of Pixar's movies since they are always interesting and while they may be "cartoony" i think its great. When wall.e was announced, I was very interested in the movie as watching the trailer piqued my curiosity. After watching it i was totally moved.

Since I don't want to spoil the movie for others who may not have watched it yet (ITS A MUST WATCH), i shall just give my evaluation here. The movie's theme of environmental damage, TNCs, and overdependence on technology was woven together very well. It really pushes the message of how we should reduce the amount of waste produced. (which totally goes together with my group's PW topic) Its funny bits were really laugh-inducing, with the robot MO totally my fav character.

argh. yesterday was totally wasted. woke up feeling horrible with a splitting headache. my dad bought prata for breakfast, after eating it, i felt worse. then came the waves of nausea, felt so weak and wanted to vomit so badly. had to lie in bed the whole day and ate a tiny bowl of noodles for lunch. then slept for like 2 hours before bathing, and thats when it began.....

it was so sudden. the vomit just came out and i could see everything i ate being regurgitated. ewww. i thought i was all right already since i felt better. then came dinner. after finishing like half a plate (which is miniscule by normal standards) and a slice of fruit, i had to rush to the toilet and once again, i was examining the contents of my stomach. so i had to go to the doctor and he said i had gastritis. then i got an injection to stop the vomiting! argh! (i havnt had an injection since P6) nw feeling mich better =) but having to take 3 diff kinds of medication. today ended up going to NLB with tedric and sy to mug tgt. managed to revise chem and some maths. dang i better get started on my geog hw, i totally forgot about it until reading andrea's blog. thats all for now.

Today was the day that mrs lim is leaving for CA, USA. woke up at 5.40am in the morning with only 3.5 hrs of sleep. Upon reaching the airport at T2, saw nobody and the only flight at 8.00am was to phnom penh in vietnam zz. then i got a call to go to T1. Im sorry ppl that i didnt wear the class tee as it was still being "processed"

it was really sad as mrs lim was entering the restricted area, a few ppl cried. i was also on the verge of crying but i forced myself to keep on smiling and laughing. ='( WE WILL MISS YOU MRS LIM! after that, ........we wont see her for 2 years.... after that i had to go to TJ to take some pics for pw but couldnt get access cos i wasnt in uniform... went to sleep the rest of the day to forget all the unhapiness. nw doing some chem work but really in no mood to study...

Term 3 is ending this week. should we be celebrating? noooo..... cos of? promos duh. im really in a dilemma. my whole class seems to be mugging yet im still relaxing. I've always managed to get through school till now without mugging much, yet now im not sure i still can. Now studying like a mad dog for chem SPA which is like tmr!!! End of term is like a bittersweet kinda feeling. On one hand you want to celebrate but can't cos of wat the next term's gonna bring.

And of course, there's another lovely 'P' word called PW designed to inject so much fun and excitement into our sad lives. Yes...... as if we didnt have enough to do. Srsly, why didnt i go to poly????? *bangs head now and regrets* wish i could vent my frustrations!

wat a retarded post!!!!! tv antennas have been around for like 40 years and now she/he is asking whether they are safe. come on....and about putting them in a safer place, like where is safe? do you know you are being bombarded every second by countless electromagnetic waves like wi-fi, FM radio and cosmic radiation? guess this guy never learn science at all or didnt pay attention during lessons.

Yawn man! Promos coming but im still slacking.... today i missed contact time...it sounded like there was a smex talk today cos they separated the guys and gals. really curious what happened =P also, the F1 simulator came to TJ today...felt dam let down...just a com with 3 screens and fancy steering wheel with rocking seat....

anyway i missed contact time 2day cos i had to rush off with e-club to MJC to learn about their cafe which is so much cooler than the dingy one in TJ's library. Feels really dam weird to go back to the place which i appealed to get out of.. MJ has really changed, they have a new rock wall and those swingy chairs that you can relax on in the centre of the sch... but i dun regret leaving, i cant imagine spending 45 mins on travelling everyday =.=

Oh man... had 2.4km run today. I think i passed....barely. What a mistake to put it as the first event of the day. I was so tired that it totally killed the rest of the day for me. In the end fell asleep during the latter part of bio lecture and the first period of chem. Then i didn't go for chinese as i was having a mega-headache and slept in the library in that period.....the day should have ended there but i had a PW meeting later zz. In the end could only go back at 6pm....fantastic man. And tmr got PW again! im so going to sleep early today.

Great! Im having NAPFA (Not Another Physical Fitness Assessment!) this fri and im going to screw it up. i cant do 3 pull ups! then theres pw. our blue file was crap. missing alot of stuff and the minutes aren't done properly. seriously life doesnt get any worse, unless maybe you count NS. i will put up a schedule too when i get to that stage, although it'll prob look very simple.

7.10 ± 5-10 min : Arrive in sch
7.30: Flag raising + pledge taking + announcements = recipe for boredom.
7.50: First lesson. You're so tired..can't....concentrate..zzzz
8.40: Break, finally. Time to get smthing to eat. But the queues are so long! Forget it...
9.10: Take your pick from a lecture or tutorial. After 50 min of torture, you can finally leave.
10.00: Skipping breakfast didnt sound like a gd idea did it? Now you're starving...
10.50: You wish its lunchtime, tough luck. another 50 mins of brain juice sapping happens, unless its a double period lesson. good luck have fun!
11.40: If its your lucky day, its lunch now, if not, too bad.

Yay nearly finished with elearning. But now got to deal with all the written assignments. Crud! What a nice way to spoil a near-perfect weekend. Next week a lot of things coming up, Bio mock SPA and 2.4km (drat) . Anyway, was trying hard to learn XHTML and CSS. Things aren't going too well. There's so much to learn. Was wondering why matrix2 (the e-learning platform) looks diff in diff browsers.

In my last post i was ranting about pw. I guess i was just feelin down cos our GPP still has kinks to iron out and im like dam tired. My group may not be the best but at least they have the willingness to work together now. E-learning next week but we sceduled tons of pw meetings. Sianx. and Mrs Lim (my bio tchr and CT) is leaving for CA, USA. she said that I know what I want in life. actually i still don't. That time I told her I wanted to become a radiotherapist. i revised that to either doctor or police officer (ironic since i cant run and not physically fit) now. My JCT's sux though, even though I suppose it isnt that bad compared to others. got few D's and E's but luckily no fails. But im still disappointed in myself since I thought I could get at least a B for Bio. nvm gonna study more but this term really hectic. And im still trying to learn HTML and CSS, which isnt easy when you have so many other things to do. yawn going to slp nw. Cya

Alright, i did say that PW sux. well actually i think there's an issue with my group. Im always the one who ends up doing most of the things and im feeling mad(very). Ppl dun read the gpp, in the end they don't even know whats our project title. Whenever I call for a meeting (why am I even doing this? Im not the group leader!) i get responses such as: don't talk to me about pw. talk to group member x; i dun feel like going for meeting leh. Honestly! Im so not going to bother about pw if this continues, they can do the WR themselves. Just my luck....

i so cant believe what happened today. today was like e-revision day and we were supposed to stay at home to revise unless we had consultation sessions with our subject teachers. i thought thr was ss today (and there was in the end) but when i checked the schedule, i saw none for today. so i went home =.= . AND 2 hrs later---------------->*handphone vibrates* y didn't you turn up for ss consultation?!!!!!! i was like mystified. so reply: but i checked the schedule today and saw no slots but thr was 3 tmr so i thought it was tmr.. next reply from tchr: ur really fast with coming with an answer. (wtf? did that mean i was lying?) and so and and so forth until i had to apologize. SO ITS MY FAULT THE TEACHER ONLY PUT THE SCHEDULE FOR 11.30 ONWARDS EH??!!!! sry for caps =( looks like i have to go apologize tmr and make sure i turn up on time =S

11.45 am: Awwww. You just had some food and it is churning around happily in your stomach when you hear an idiot blow the whistle signalling end of recess. (Don't you wish you can clobber him?) Anyway, checking the timetable reveals that the next lesson of the day is chemistry or chem for short. Further checking reveals that you forgot to bring ur chem file and C.C is gonna be mad....... good luck!!!! *Hears sounds of immense pain*

12.45 pm: Phew!!! Last lesson of the day before lunch and then IS (independent study- sounds disgusting) and the mystery lesson is......*drumroll* Geography. At least a good lesson cos u can sleep all you like and the teacher a.k.a KFC doesnt care. *Sounds of bell ringing* End of lesson.

Lunch: Time to catch up with ur pals CSC and SY. *Listen to their "interesting" conversations* (samples will be uploaded in future) After that, time to listen to ted's "interesting" and latest rakion escapades of his uber BS or blacksmith.

2.00 pm: IS TIME!!! Basically, do your homework (unsupervised) and listen to your fav mp3 soundtracks until 3pm while listening to the class clowns provide free entertainment.

3.00 pm: CONGRATULATIONS! YOU SURVIVED A SCHOOL DAY AND LIVED TO TELL OTHERS. Pat yourself on the back and repeat the above scenario with different combos of lesson 5 times and you will have got through a week.

6 am: Ringggg........ wake up!!! Its *sigh* yet another day at school. Its funny how weird things taste in the morning. So, breakfast is skipped

7 am: Reach the canteen just in time to see CSC, the dreaded irritant walk up to the canteen table. *Talk lame stuff* <7.15> Hi SY!! <7.25> Hi ted!!! *discuss more lame stuff*

7.30 am: *School please get ready for flag-raising!* <1> *National anthem starts* followed by announcements, then morning digest [A kind of daily boring entertainment) by some person(s) babbling nonsense. *School you may now stand and return to your classes* *End of assembly*

7.45 am: First lesson of the day. "Good morning Mr/Mrs/Ms xyz". Lessons start. Its such a beautiful day, the sun is shining (not too brightly) and you feel sooo comfortable. The desk suddenly seems to be a very appealing place to rest your head while the teacher is mumbling something about trigonometry and triangles. (like who listens anyway) *Ringgg* End of lesson 1.

8.45 am: 2nd lesson of the day. You suddenly feel more refreshed after your nap but you suddenly feel tired again. Its the dreaded period with ur MT teacher and you forgot to bring ur materials. (uh-oh) Somehow u get pass this lesson to the next. *Ringgg* End of lesson 2.

9.45 am: Only one more lesson to recess!!! *Sigh* its SS now (social studies) a.k.a propaganda lessons. While your teacher is droning about the UN and its activities blah blah... you're wondering whats the point of studying such a subject and you marvel how a qn like "The UN is highly sucessful in eradicating hunger in the world. Do you agree?" can require an answer spanning 2 pages. Drone........drone.......class dismissed......."WHAT!" *zoom* to the canteen.

10.45 am: YAY! ITS RECESS TIME. But...look at the queues, so longgg. =.= when you finished queueing for your food you discover (to your horror) theres only 5 minutes left. So you stuff the food into your mouth as fast as you can so you can be in time for the next lesson. (Why is it always so rushing?) End of recess.
